Question 1

What is the elevation of the hotel? At what altitude is Hochgurgl, how many meters above sea level, and is the road cleared in winter?

Accepted Answer

We are located at 2,150 m above sea level, directly in the ski area next to slope #33 in Hochgurgl. Hochgurgl is an idyllic hotel village of six hotels at the end of the Ötztal, with no through traffic. The road to us is always well-maintained — however, we recommend snow chains from December to March, as chain requirements apply regardless of all-wheel drive.

Question 2

Are dogs allowed at the hotel? What is the daily rate for a dog, are pets included in the room price, can cats stay with us, and are dogs permitted in the dining room?

Accepted Answer

We warmly welcome dogs and cats by request. The fee is 30 € per day without food and is not included in the room price. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted in the dining room, wellness area, or swimming pool.

Question 3

How much does WiFi cost at the hotel? Internet ticket price, how long is it valid, how many devices can use it, is there free WiFi, and why do WiFi, safe and bathrobe cost extra?

Accepted Answer

Our WiFi is available with an Internet ticket for €4.00 per ticket. One ticket is valid for your entire stay — it doesn't expire daily. You'll need a separate ticket for each device: if you have a smartphone, tablet and laptop, you'll need three tickets accordingly. You can get your tickets anytime at reception. Here's a tip: if you follow us on Facebook or Instagram, you'll receive your Internet tickets free of charge — as many as you have devices. For higher demands such as video conferences or streaming, we also offer high-speed WiFi as an add-on. Why we charge separately: our aim is to offer every guest the most affordable package possible. That's why we bill additional services such as WiFi, room safe or bathrobe separately — so everyone only pays for what they actually need.

Question 4

Is the ski pass included?

Accepted Answer
